Portrait Plans

Babies grow and change so quickly! From helpless newborn to toddler in one short year; it really does go by faster than you can believe. To help you cherish each stage along the way, photographs at each milestone are priceless remembrances of this brief time.

The recommended ages for portraits the first year are:
Birth to two weeks (the younger the better!)
Approximately three months- smiles, able to hold head up well
Approximately six months- able to sit up, but not crawl
Approximately nine months- able to stand holding on to something, but probably not walking
One year- able to stand unassisted, possibly walking.

Each of these ages shows significant growth and development as personality unfolds. My Portrait Plan captures each stage and results in a timeless keepsake of the first year of life.

Five portrait sessions would be $1500 at my standard session fee of $300, but because I love photographing babies so much, I have designed my Portrait Plan to be much more affordable for your family.

The basic plan is $450, and includes portraits created in your home (yes, I come to you! You don't have to worry about getting to a studio on time or making your way through a crowded mall) at the major milestones of three, six, nine months and one year. If you call me before your baby is two weeks old, I will add an additional newborn session at no charge. If you call me before your baby is born, I will add a maternity portrait session for mom and dad for $100 and the newborn session. At the end of the year, you will receive a beautiful 30"x5" collage featuring photographs from each of the portrait sessions.

What if your baby is older than three months? Of course we can start the Plan any time! And it also works for older children. Between the ages of one and five years, portraits two or three times a year show the changes and progression of growth. After five years old, portraits are recommended once or twice a year until Senior Portraits in the last year of high school. A family portrait session once a year shows how the family grows and changes, too. Two portrait sessions in one year is $350, three sessions in one year is $400, and four sessions is $450. The 30"x5" collage is your gift with any of these plans.

One more bonus: add grandparents to any session and receive a complimentary 8x10.
